Anders Wendin, besser bekannt als Moneybrother, meldet sich mit seinem 6. Album, zurück.
Das ebenfalls „Moneybrother“ betitelte Werk wird Ende September erscheinen und wird mit einer Dokumentar-DVD „Start a Fire“ veröffentlicht.
Für die dreimonatigen Aufnahmen begab sich Moneybrother in 6 Länder und nahm insgesamt 12 Songs auf, jeweils mit Unterstützung lokaler Größen wie z.B. dem weltweit angesehenen Perkussionisten Marcos Suzanos. Er bereiste die Städte Chicago, Los Angeles, Rio De Janeiro, Kingston, London, Kapstadt und Auckland.
Das Ergebnis ist ein bemerkenswertes Werk, getragen von Moneybrothers einzigartigen Sound, angelehnt an Pop, Reggae, Dance, Punk und Soul und insipiriert von den bereisten Städten und mitspielenden Künstlern.

Passend zur musikalischen und kulturellen Vielfalt des Albums hat der preisgekrönte Regisseur Jim Dziura dei Reisen für eine Dokumentation in Spielfilmlänge begleitet.
